This self-portrait overlooks Sycamore Canyon, a favorite local hiking spot. The small desert flowers and shapes of the hills in the distance feel like a familiar friend, and a bag lays at her typically converse-clad feet, phone, and all other distractions put aside for a moment of appreciation of a California sunset.

Keely Berry
Keely Berry, a Riverside native, uses a low-contrast earthy color palette and clean lines to highlight the beauty and richness of our local landscapes. She focuses on the powerful connection between people and nature, inspired by her own experiences hiking with her friends in our parks and wilderness. Her recognizable and consistent illustrative style was developed over five years of experience as a visual artist. She trained with the Shift Collective under an internship, and her work decorates the walls of local businesses as murals.
